Material Type Of Button

The materials of buttons can be roughly divided into plastic (resin, plastic), metal buttons (copper, iron, alloy), and natural buttons (shell, wood, coconut shell, bamboo). The process of making buttons from various materials is different. Some buttons look the same, and even people in the industry may not be able to distinguish them with their eyes, so they can only be distinguished if they are damaged and their coats are peeled off.

Buttons can be divided into plastic buttons and resin buttons. Plastic buttons and resin buttons. Plastic (including various plastics) buttons are generally die-casting, so there will be a line on the side of buttons. Some factories may remove this line in subsequent processing, but its weight will be lighter than that of resin (of course, some special plastics will be heavier). Resin buttons are mechanically carved and polished, so the surface is very smooth without full mold lines. But it is fragile and its surface is easy to scratch. It will become soft when put in boiling water.
