The color change of the sample after the test, and the rating grade of the white cloth dyeing degree indicates the color fastness.
In the various items of color fastness, the most commonly used color fastness are color fastness to friction, color fastness to sweat, color fastness to washing, color fastness to light, color fastness to water, color fastness to brushing, color fastness to weather and so on. In actual life, the items to be examined are mainly decided according to the final use of the product. Among them, the color fastness to sweat stains, dry friction and water immersion are the items required by the basic safety technical specifications of textiles, and all dyed textiles should be examined. The color fastness is generally evaluated by visual inspection, that is, the gray sample is taken as the standard sample. Under certain light and environmental conditions, the gray card is compared with the sample by eyes to determine the original color change of the sample and the color progression of the white cloth. There ARE FIVE fastNESS levels for GREY CARDS (COLOR CHANGE and color dip respectively), namely 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. 5 is the best, 1 is the worst. Another half grade is added to each two grades, namely 4 5, 3 4, 2 3 and 1 2. Therefore, the gray card we use daily is 5 grade and 9 grade, and the dyeing fastness evaluation result is one of 9 grades. If the webbing product does not meet the grade of color fastness specified in the standard, then the webbing product is disqualified.
