The raw materials of buttons are mainly unsaturated polyester resin, curing agent, and auxiliary materials.
(1) unsaturated polyester resin: the resin used in the production of buttons requires a viscosity of 10-20PA s, low heat release when curing
The gel time is short, the resin is easy to color, and the hardness increases slowly in the curing stage.
(2) Curing agent: the initiator is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, and the promoter is cobalt naphthalenate.
(3) Auxiliary materials: including color paste, pearlescent powder, thixotropic agent, etc. The pearLITE powder IS a hexagonal sheet crystal of basic lead carbonate, which can be arranged in parallel in the forming process to show pearl luster. The thixotropic agent is active silicon dioxide, which is mainly used to prevent the mutual penetration of no color.
